La Fiera degli Animali – Allevamento, trasformazione casearia e memoria rurale
Mineo (CT) – area del centro storico
Organised by Comune di Mineo
The Municipality of Mineo organizes the first edition of the Animal Fair, a livestock event that brings cattle, sheep, horses and donkeys back to the historic center for educational purposes. The program includes the "Court of Animals and Supply Chains", meetings with breeders, demonstrations of milk processing (ricotta, stretched-curd cheeses) and guided tastings. A special focus is dedicated to the Comisana sheep and the cannolo di Mineo, a gastronomic product linked to the ricotta supply chain.
