The association La Casa di Lucia APS organizes in Bompietro the series of meetings "La Biblioteca di Lucia incontra...", from June to September 2026. The initiative promotes cultural revitalization, the integration of young people and migrants, and the creation of inclusive events. The program includes five appointments: a weekend of street philosophy with Professor Augusto Cavadi (June 6-7, with philosophical walks, workshops, concerts and tastings); the screening of the documentary "The Wonder" with directors Joshua Wahlen and Alessandro Seidita; the screening of the film "Scianèl" with director Luciano Accomando; a concert by the Duo Sollima with music and songs of women; and a meeting on "Arte e Dolore" curated by Dr. Vincenzo Raieli.
Un libro fa Presa – Literary festival and gastronomic event

The fourth edition of 'Un libro fa Presa' turns the hamlet of Presa into a summer literary lounge on the slopes of Mount Etna. From June to September, the Territorial Promotion Center in via San Giovanni Bosco hosts book presentations, meetings with authors, and moments of dialogue. Each event is accompanied by tastings and food and wine proposals curated by the Cucina del Borgo di Presa, combining the pleasure of reading with the discovery of local flavors. The festival, organized by Pro Loco Presa and the Associazione Culturale Il Borgo di Presa with the patronage of the Municipality of Piedimonte Etneo, is a permanent event designed to enhance the territory through culture.
Notturno d'Autore 2026
Ficarra (ME)
The 11th edition of the literary festival Notturno d'Autore enlivens the summer with 17 free evening events, from June 24 to September 11, 2026. The venues are Capo d'Orlando Marina, Ficarra, and Sant'Agata di Militello. Each event starts at 9:00 PM and features authors and personalities from the cultural and journalistic world. This year's guests include Massimo Giannini, Pietro Grasso, Salvo Andò, Salvo Battaglia, and the collective Le Donne di Controparola. The closing evening on September 11 in Ficarra awards the Premio Notturno d'Autore 2026 to Massimo Giannini.
ODISSEE DI IERI E DI OGGI - Rassegna Letteraria
Favignana (TP)
The Municipality of Favignana presents the literary series 'Odissee di ieri e di oggi', a cycle of eight meetings that will take place from July 15 to September 6, 2026 at the Ex Stabilimento Florio. Each appointment explores a theme related to Homeric epic and contemporaneity: from the origins of the Mycenaeans with Massimo Cultraro, to the return narrated by Andrea Pezzi. Readings by Stefania Orsola Garello accompany the presentations. The series, sponsored by the Assessorato ai Beni Culturali of the Sicilian Region and the Assessorato alla Cultura of the Municipality of Favignana, is an opportunity to deepen the link between classical myth and the reality of the Egadi Islands.
Remembering Paolo Borsellino: how to follow his example

Fourth edition of the summer series dedicated to the memory of judge Paolo Borsellino, killed by the mafia in 1992. Five meetings, from July 17 to September 14, 2026, in Piazza della Vittoria in Marsala, to reflect on legality, justice and civic commitment through debates and testimonies. The initiative is promoted by the socio-educational center "I giusti di Sicilia" of Father Francesco Fiorino, together with Opera Mons. Gioacchino Di Leo ODV and the Diocese of Mazara del Vallo, with the patronage of the National Association of Magistrates (Marsala subsection) and the Municipality of Marsala.
6th Edition of the Literary Festival "Salìber Fest"

The sixth edition of Salìber Fest returns to Salemi, the literary festival organized by the Cultural Association "Liber…i". The event, titled "Resistenze", is part of the summer program "Salemi dESTATE" and offers a rich schedule of meetings, presentations, and debates. The festival will take place over several days, from July 21 to 26, with an additional date on September 4, 2026, enlivening the historic center of Salemi with events dedicated to reading and culture.

The Municipality of Calatabiano organizes the Centro Estivo 2026 for minors aged 5 to 12, funded by the Fund for socio-educational activities (DIPOFAM). The recreational and socio-educational activities take place at the municipal facility 'Sotto al Castello'. The service is managed by the Association Alkantara Sport and provides for the admission of 22 minors, including 3 places reserved for children with disabilities. Rostro – I dodici volti della pace is the Scuola Civica della Pace of the Municipality of Termini Imerese, a yearly cycle of twelve public meetings dedicated to figures of national and international importance who represent different aspects of peacebuilding. Each meeting, lasting 90 minutes, develops through five steps: the face, the virtue, the question, the gesture and the legacy. The calendar includes one appointment per month from September 2026 to August 2027, with figures such as Rosario Livatino, Maria Zambrano, Malala Yousafzai and Desmond Tutu.

Documentary "Fausto Firreri, il maestro del mare" - Filming

The Municipality of Campobello di Mazara grants free patronage to the documentary "Fausto Firreri, il maestro del mare", pilot episode of the project "La voce dell'acqua". Filming will take place from 3 to 8 September 2026 in the coastal areas of the municipal territory, including Capo Granitola, Torretta Granitola and Tre Fontane. The documentary tells the story of the Sicilian freediver and Paralympic athlete Fausto Firreri, highlighting the relationship with the sea, Sicilian culture and environmental education.
