From July 30 to August 2, 2026, the Villa Comunale di Caltabellotta hosts "Pacefest Sotto Attacco", a cultural event sponsored by the Municipality of Caltabellotta and several departments of the Sicilian Region. The event, conceived and organized by the association Fuoririga, offers a program of meetings, debates and moments of reflection on the themes of peace and coexistence, with the involvement of cultural partners such as the Associazione Siciliana Storici and the Sindacato Unitario dei Giornalisti di Sicilia.

Festa di Maria SS. del Mirto 2026

On the occasion of the celebrations in honor of Maria SS. del Mirto, patron saint of Villafranca Sicula, Eucharistic celebrations and short processions through the streets of the town will take place. On Wednesday, July 15 at 9:30 PM, a short procession from the Chiesa Madre to Via Umberto I is scheduled. The lineup includes musical performances (La banda del Fonico, Duo Incanto, Matranga e Minafò, Little Paul Band), theater, dialect comedies, sports tournaments (five-a-side football, table tennis, volleyball, scala quaranta), bicycle gymkhana, treasure hunt, open-air cinema, book presentations and the traditional Sagra delle Grabusce. All events are open to citizens and visitors, with the aim of enhancing the territory and offering moments of aggregation.

In Sciacca, at Piazza Angelo Scandaliato, the International Street Food returns, an event dedicated to street food from different culinary traditions. The event takes place from July 17 to 19, 2026, with varying hours: Friday 17 and Saturday 18 from 6:00 PM to midnight, Sunday 19 from noon to midnight. Admission is free. To ensure safety, a traffic ban is in place on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, between Piazza Saverio Friscia and via Incisa, during the event evenings (from 7:00 PM to midnight).
