The Peace of Caltabellotta was signed in 1302, ending the War of the Vespers and establishing the separation between the Kingdom of Sicily and the Kingdom of Naples. Every year, the medieval village of Caltabellotta reenacts this event with a festival that combines historical memory and messages of peace. For two days, Piazzale Ruggero di Lauria and the streets of the center come alive with shows, music, costumed processions, and cultural moments, recreating the atmosphere of Sicilian Middle Ages. The 2026 edition will be held on August 29 and 30.
Puliamo il Mondo 2026 a Caltabellotta

Il Comune di Caltabellotta aderisce a 'Puliamo il Mondo 2026', l'iniziativa di volontariato ambientale promossa da Legambiente. Per tre giorni, volontari grandi e piccoli si impegneranno nella pulizia di aree pubbliche, con l'obiettivo di sensibilizzare la comunità sul rispetto dell'ambiente e sulla corretta gestione dei rifiuti. L'evento è aperto a tutti e prevede la partecipazione di scuole, associazioni e cittadini, con materiali e copertura assicurativa forniti dall'organizzazione nazionale.
Caltabellotta Città Presepe – XXXII edizione

Caltabellotta Città Presepe è una manifestazione identitaria che trasforma il centro storico del borgo in un presepe vivente diffuso, abitato e reale. Il visitatore non assiste a una rappresentazione, ma attraversa un paese che vive realmente il proprio Natale: botteghe artigiane, antichi mestieri, degustazioni di prodotti tipici, musica popolare e il villaggio pastorale animano le grotte, i vicoli e il quartiere della Pietà. L'evento, giunto alla trentaduesima edizione, si svolge in cinque giornate tra dicembre e gennaio.
