Calatafimi Segesta renews the appointment with the 33rd Sagra del Maccherone, scheduled for August 1 and 2, 2026. The event celebrates the symbolic dish of local tradition: maccheroni, also known as busiate, prepared according to ancient recipes handed down from generation to generation. For two evenings, the streets and squares of the historic center transform into a taste trail, with tasting points where you can sample different pasta variants, accompanied by typical sauces and condiments. The gastronomic offer is enriched by stands of sweets, wines, liqueurs and local products, while music, folk songs and shows of the KalatinCanto Festival enliven the party in the name of Sicilian culture.
