La Deputazione della Reale Cappella di Santa Venera organizza i tradizionali festeggiamenti in onore della santa patrona. Il 25 e 26 luglio 2026 si svolgerà una solenne processione religiosa che attraverserà le principali vie del centro storico di Acireale. Il percorso toccherà luoghi significativi come la Chiesa del Carmelo, Piazza San Biagio, Piazza San Michele e Piazza Garibaldi. Le celebrazioni coinvolgono l'intera comunità in un momento di fede e tradizione.
Divieti di sosta e modifiche alla viabilità: - 25 luglio 2026, dalle 19:00 alle 24:00: divieto di sosta con rimozione in Via Galatea (civ. 2-6), Via Galatea, Via Cavour, Via San Biagio, Piazza San Biagio (tratto tra Via G. Gozzano e Via Giuliani), Via Collegio Pennisi, Piazza San Michele (area antistante la Chiesa), Piazza Madonna della Pace, Via San Martino (tratto tra Via Dott. Alfio Fichera e Via S. Francesco di Paola) - 26 luglio 2026, dalle 20:00 alle 24:00: divieto di sosta con rimozione in Piazza Garibaldi (tratto tra Corso Umberto e Via Paolo Vasta) e Via Paolo Vasta (tratto tra Piazza Garibaldi e Corso Savoia) Durante la processione, la polizia locale potrà sospendere o deviare il traffico per necessità.

On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the 'Casa Sollievo San Camillo' center, a puppet show dedicated to the life of the co-patron Saint Camillus will be performed. The show, written and directed by master puppeteer Tano Grasso, will take place on July 21, 2026 at 8:30 PM at Largo Giovanni XXIII. A unique opportunity to rediscover the Sicilian tradition of puppet theater and celebrate an important figure for the Acese community. The event is open to all citizens.
