The hamlet of Aci Platani is preparing to experience the solemn celebrations in honor of Santa Maria del Monte Carmelo, a religious event that involves the entire community. The celebrations take place over three days: Sunday 12, Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 July 2026, with moments of prayer and processions through the streets of the town. To ensure the safety of the faithful, changes to traffic have been introduced in the main squares and streets.
No parking with towing and no traffic: - Sunday 12 and Wednesday 15 July 2026, from 7:00 PM to midnight, in Piazza IV Settembre and Via Botteghelle (section between Piazza IV Settembre and Via Grasso). - Thursday 16 July 2026, from 8:00 AM to midnight, in Piazza IV Settembre and Via Botteghelle (section between Piazza IV Settembre and Via Grasso).
