The Palio dei Quartieri di Villafrati reaches its fifth edition, a rich program of recreational events that will enliven the town center from July 12 to August 2, 2026. The event, organized by the association Vulgo Cultura APS ETS, includes games, sports tournaments, team challenges, and social gatherings for all ages, with the aim of enhancing local history and traditions. The program includes activities such as treasure hunt, five-a-side football, gymkhana, chess, ping pong, checkers, darts, archery, carruzzuna race, volleyball, table football, and a final quiz. The opening ceremony on July 12 will feature a grand parade with flag-wavers, while the Villafratesi Olympics, organized by the Youth Council, will take place on August 8.
Traffic and parking bans in various streets and squares of the town center on the dates and times indicated by ordinance no. 3 of 10-07-2026. On 12/07/2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM: via Parco Delle Rimembranze, viale Europa (section between p.za F. Rosselli and via L. Pirandello), via L. Pirandello and C.so S. Marco (section between via L. Pirandello and via P.pe Amedeo) and side streets. On July 14 and 27, 2026 from 8:00 AM until the end of the event, and on August 2, 2026 from 7:00 PM to 11:59 PM: via Giardino (section between via P.co Delle Rimembranze and via S. Pellico). On 15/07/2026 from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM: Viale Europa (section between via S. Pellico and via L. Pirandello). On 22/07/2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Piazza Pozzillo. On 26/07/2026 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM: C.so S. Marco (section between via Mauro and via P.co Delle Rimembranze).

Gli eventi si svolgono in Piazza Umberto (parte alta) dalle ore 21:00 alle 24:00, con animazione, musica e giochi per bambini e famiglie. Il programma prevede serate a tema il 14, 15, 28, 31 luglio e il 10 agosto 2026, con intrattenimento musicale e animazione per i più piccoli. L'iniziativa è patrocinata e sostenuta dal Comune di Cefalà Diana.
