Third edition of the cultural festival celebrating Sicilian identity through theater, music, and storytelling. Hosted at Villa Cosentino and Piazza del Santuario, the event offers an evening program ranging from folk tales to performances by contemporary artists. Among the appointments scheduled for August 2026 are "Ruggiero e Marfisa. Il duello dei due destini", the meeting with Antonio Presti "La politica della bellezza", "Effetti collaterali", "Canti e cunti di Sicilia", and the show by Rita Botto. An opportunity to discover the stories, sounds, and traditions of the island.
Festa dell'Acciuga

The traditional Festa dell'Acciuga returns to Valverde for three days of taste and fun. The event takes place in the city center, enlivened by food stalls and wooden houses set up for the occasion. The initiative celebrates the local typical product, offering visitors dishes based on anchovies and local specialties. The streets of the center host refreshment points and tastings for adults and children.
