Summer pedestrian area in Via Medici, Castel di Tusa

During summer evenings, the central section of Via Medici in Castel di Tusa becomes a pedestrian island. From 7 PM to 2 AM, from July 13 to August 23, 2026, the road is closed to vehicular traffic between numbers 53 and 73, giving the space back to residents and visitors. An opportunity to walk safely, stop for a chat, or simply enjoy the evening breeze in the seaside village, without cars. The initiative aims to make the center more livable and encourage spontaneous social gatherings.
Festa Patronale in onore di Maria SS. Assunta
Tusa (ME)
The traditional Patronal Feast in honor of Maria SS. Assunta, patron saint of Tusa, takes place on August 13, 14, 15 and 23, 2026. The celebrations, included in the 'Estate Alesina 2026' calendar, feature religious ceremonies, processions and shows in Piazza Mazzini. For the occasion, traffic and parking bans are established in several streets of the center, with changes to traffic flow to allow the ceremonies and side events to take place.
