The shots traverse Syracuse with a gaze that combines urban glimpses, expanses of sea, architectures and natural landscapes, putting the historical identity of the city into dialogue with a poetic and suspended dimension. The setting in the evocative hypogeum space creates a short circuit between contemporary art and the archaeological stratification of the site, offering a visual path that invites you to rediscover the city through its traces of light and stone.
Musical entertainment at Kukua Beach

Kukua Beach in Fontane Bianche enlivens the Syracuse summer with live music and DJ sets, from beach relaxation to club evenings. Every day, from 9 am to 7 pm, the beach offers musical entertainment, while on Saturday evenings Kukua by Night transforms the lido into a night club with DJ sets until late. Two exclusive areas allow you to choose between apericena, dinner at the restaurant, or pizza with a sea view or by the pool.
Mercato del Contadino - Fontane Bianche

Every Tuesday afternoon, from June 30 to September 29, via Lago di Varese in Fontane Bianche hosts the farmer's market, a regular event of the Syracuse summer. The stalls offer zero-kilometer agricultural products brought directly by local producers: seasonal fruit and vegetables, cheeses, honey and other local specialties. An opportunity for open-air shopping a stone's throw from the sea.
Mercatino Arte e Tradizione di Ortigia

Throughout the summer, the Belvedere of Largo Aretusa hosts a market with wooden stalls dedicated to local crafts and traditions. Strepitus Silentii - Le Notti delle Catacombe

The summer appointment with theatrical night tours of the Catacombs of Syracuse returns, now in its 22nd edition. A suggestive journey through history, archaeology and theater, discovering the silence and sounds of the underground. The event is organized by Kairòs in collaboration with the Cultural Association L'Isola del Dialogo and is under the patronage of the Municipality of Syracuse. Reciting voices and live music accompany visitors on a unique experience.
EXHIBITION of the precious SILVER CHANDELIER of the BLESSED VIRGIN MARY (17th-18th century)

In the Crypt of the Cathedral of Syracuse, from 13 to 31 August 2026, the silver chandelier of the Blessed Virgin Mary is exhibited, a piece of sacred silverware made between the 17th and 18th centuries. The temporary exhibition allows you to observe the details of this creation up close, in an underground space of strong impact.

73° Anniversario della Lacrimazione della Madonna – Bicifestazione

I festeggiamenti per il 73° Anniversario della Lacrimazione della Madonna, organizzati dalla Basilica del Santuario della Madonna delle Lacrime, prevedono per il 26 agosto la "Bicifestazione", una pedalata lungo le vie della città. Il percorso toccherà piazza della Vittoria, corso Gelone, corso Umberto I e diverse altre vie del centro, con partenza e arrivo presso il Santuario. L'evento è aperto a tutta la cittadinanza e si svolgerà dalle 19:30 alle 22:00.
