The fourth edition of the Festa del Grano returns to Mongiuffi Melia on 22 and 23 August 2026. In the historic center of the village, among the alleys and Piazza del Carmine, peasant culture is celebrated with a program ranging from agricultural traditions to gastronomy.
In the morning there are hands-on workshops on processing ancient grains and hemp, milling demonstrations and guided walks in the surroundings. In the afternoon, stands open with typical products, local flours and handicrafts.
In the evening the square comes alive with the sagra dei maccheroni and vastedda: traditional dishes prepared on the spot, accompanied by folk music and popular dances. An opportunity to taste authentic flavors and discover one of the most charming villages of the Peloritani.
