Recupero e musealizzazione del Palischermo San Tommaso

From 14 to 17 July 2026, in Milazzo, the recovery, relocation and museum display of the Palischermo San Tommaso, an ancient historic boat, will take place from Piazza San Papino to the area of the former Asilo Calcagno. The operation, which involves moving the artifact with special vehicles, represents an important initiative to enhance the local maritime cultural heritage. The Palischermo will become the centerpiece of the future Museum of Maritime Arts.
Processione della Madonna del Carmine

On July 16, 2026, the traditional procession in honor of the Madonna del Carmine takes place in Milazzo, organized by the Parish of Santo Stefano protomartire and Rector of the Church of the Carmine. The religious procession will start at 9:00 PM from Piazza C. Duilio and will go through the main streets of the historic center, including via D. Piraino, Piazza Mazzini, via M. Regis, Piazza Nastasi, via XX Settembre, Piazza Roma, via Umberto I and via G. Chinigò, then return to the church.
Traversata a nuoto Vulcano-Milazzo

Il 18 luglio 2026 si terrà la tradizionale traversata a nuoto da Vulcano a Milazzo, una competizione sportiva che attraversa il mare delle Eolie. L'evento è organizzato con il supporto della Capitaneria di Porto di Milazzo, che ha emesso un'ordinanza per garantire la sicurezza della navigazione durante la manifestazione.
