Il Vento del Nord

From 18 to 24 July 2026, 'Il Vento del Nord' returns to Piazza Castello in Lampedusa, the film festival that brings the big screen to the island, which lacks a cinema. For its eighteenth edition, the open-air arena hosts about fifteen films and short films every evening from 9:00 PM to midnight, all with free admission. The event is curated by the Associazione Culturale Lampedusa Cinema, coordinated by Laura Delli Colli, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Fondazione Claudio Nobis. In addition to screenings, the program includes meeting moments dedicated to the island's youth, confirming the event's vocation to combine entertainment and participation.

Il 26 luglio 2026 si terrà a Linosa la processione in onore di Maria Stella Maris, patrona dell'isola. Il corteo religioso partirà alle ore 18:00 e si snoderà lungo via Vittorio Alfieri e via Pozzolana di Ponente, per poi fare ritorno. La processione è organizzata dalla parrocchia locale e vedrà la partecipazione dei numerosi fedeli della comunità. Per garantire la sicurezza, sono previsti divieti di sosta e circolazione nelle vie interessate durante il passaggio del corteo.
