E' state in forma

For the months of July and August 2026, the initiative "E' state in forma" offers outdoor sports activities on the beach of the Lungomare di Gela and at Orto Pasqualello. The free-entry event takes place twice a week and aims to enhance the coastal area by promoting the psychophysical well-being of citizens and visitors.
San Giacomo Fest

The "San Giacomo Fest" is a music and cabaret event that enlivens Piazza San Giacomo for three summer evenings. The event includes musical evenings, children's shows with inflatables, soap bubbles and cotton candy, as well as cabaret performances. Admission is free.

Four dance evenings in Piazza Roma in Gela. The event 'Gela Med Dance' will enliven the Sundays of August with music and dancing for all tastes.
Gela Med Fest 2026 – Spettacoli di teatro di strada e circo contemporaneo

As part of the Gela Med Festival 2026, two street theater and contemporary circus performances will be held, curated by the Società Coop. Compagnia Joculares. The dates are August 7, 2026 and September 3, 2026, with the venue subject to change (likely in open spaces of Gela). The performances aim to enhance the territory and actively involve the audience, with artistic interventions designed for squares and outdoor settings.
Festa di Maria Santissima d'Alemanna 2026 e X Palio dell'Alemanna

I festeggiamenti in onore di Maria Santissima d'Alemanna, Patrona di Gela, si aprono sabato 29 agosto 2026 con la rievocazione storica del X Palio dell'Alemanna, un grande corteo medievale con circa 200 figuranti tra musicanti, danzatrici, armigeri e sbandieratori che animerà il centro storico. Lunedì 31 agosto 2026 si terrà la solenne Celebrazione Eucaristica presso la Chiesa Madre, preceduta dall'arrivo dei volontari dell'UNITALSI che accompagneranno i partecipanti. Per consentire lo svolgimento delle manifestazioni sono previste modifiche alla viabilità e alla sosta nelle vie del centro.
Sulle Tracce dell'Oro Nero
