The Frazzanò Folk Fest – Ethno World Music 2026 is a festival of ethnic and folk music that takes place from July 17 to 19, 2026, between the Monastery of San Filippo di Fragalà and Piazza Regina Adelasia in Frazzanò. The program includes concerts, performances of songs, dances, and fairy tales from the Sicilian folk tradition, such as the show "Quando la luna cantava" by the Compagnia Sikania Minor Deus scheduled for July 19 at the Monastery of Fragalà. The event is organized by the Municipality of Frazzanò with the contribution of the Sicilian Region and represents an important appointment for the promotion of local culture and tourism.
On July 17 and 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM the following day, vehicle traffic is prohibited on Via Libertà, Via Umberto I, Via San Filippo di Fragalà, and Piazza Nuova Regina Adelasia (except for residents, emergency vehicles, and heavy vehicles). No parking on either side along Via Umberto I up to the intersection with Via Regina Elena and Via Libertà from number 53 to the intersection with Via Umberto I. Traffic will be diverted to Via Sant'Ippolito, Via Timpa, and Via Quartiere Serro. On July 17, 18, and 19, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM, it is forbidden to introduce and consume glass bottles or containers and cans in the areas of Piazza Nuova Regina Adelasia, Via Libertà, and Via Umberto I and in the immediate vicinity. Prohibition of takeaway sales of beverages in glass or cans from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM on the same days.
