Notturno d'Autore 2026

The 11th edition of the literary festival Notturno d'Autore enlivens the summer with 17 free evening events, from June 24 to September 11, 2026. The venues are Capo d'Orlando Marina, Ficarra, and Sant'Agata di Militello. Each event starts at 9:00 PM and features authors and personalities from the cultural and journalistic world. This year's guests include Massimo Giannini, Pietro Grasso, Salvo Andò, Salvo Battaglia, and the collective Le Donne di Controparola. The closing evening on September 11 in Ficarra awards the Premio Notturno d'Autore 2026 to Massimo Giannini.
Merenda nell'Oliveta – Special Summer 2026

The Municipality of Ficarra joins the initiative "Merenda nell'Oliveta – Special Summer 2026", promoted by the National Association of Oil Cities. The event, scheduled from August 1 to September 13, 2026, offers an immersive experience in the olive-growing landscape, with tastings of extra virgin olive oil and local typical products, discovering the traditions and culture of the area. The main date set for the event is September 12, 2026, subject to any changes agreed with the Regional Coordination of Oil Cities.
Estate Ficarrese: theatrical comedies in Piazza Umberto I

As part of the Estate Ficarrese 2026, two evenings dedicated to theater are scheduled, with comedies performed in Piazza Umberto I. The shows will take place on August 11 and 25, 2026, starting at 9:30 PM and ending at midnight. To allow the event to take place, parking bans with towing are planned in the affected areas.
