Theatre Teatri di Pietra Sicilia 2026

Seven evenings of theatre, music and dance enliven the Archaeological Area of Eraclea Minoa, overlooking the Mediterranean, for the 2026 edition of Teatri di Pietra Sicilia. The programme ranges from revisited classics to original productions: starting on 26 July with “Del labirinto e altre storie”, an experience between dance and narration, followed by “Le lacrime delle donne, La guerra è finita” (2 August), “Donne di guerra, Le Troiane” (6 August), a jazz tribute to the Beatles (8 August), “Medea” (12 August), Aristophanes’ satire “Nuvole” (20 August) and “Pinocchio. Anatomia di un seme ostinato” (27 August).
Each performance transforms the archaeological site into an open-air stage, in a dialogue between ancient memory and contemporary creation.
