From 6 to 8 November 2026, the Hotel San Michele in Caltanissetta, at via Fasci Siciliani 6, hosts the 48th edition of the Sicily Mineral Show, the mineral and fossil exchange fair that every year brings collectors, scholars and enthusiasts from all over Sicily to the city. The programme opens on Friday 6 November with the ETNA Day, in sala Falcone from 9 to 14, organised together with the Ordine Regionale dei Geologi di Sicilia. On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November the exchange fair remains open in the Borsellino and Livatino rooms, with opening hours 10-21 on Saturday and 9-21 on Sunday: minerals and fossils to see, compare and exchange between exhibitors and visitors.
