San Nicasio e la Fiera d'Agosto – Tra Storia, Tradizioni, Fede e Sapori

The traditional Fiera d'Agosto of Caccamo, dedicated to the co-patron San Nicasio, enlivens the village for over two weeks with cultural, folkloristic and religious events. Along Via Termitana, the fair takes place with numerous stalls from all over Sicily, while nearby attractions for children and a funfair are set up in a equipped area. The program includes the opening on August 15 with traditional folk songs and dances, the evening of taste with tasting of typical products on August 20, a cabaret show on the 27th, a musical show on the 30th and the solemn procession of the Silver Simulacrum of San Nicasio on August 31, with the participation of the Complesso Bandistico Città di Caccamo.
Castellana di Caccamo 2026

The Castellana di Caccamo 2026 is a two-evening event that enlivens the historic center of the village. On Saturday, August 22, the Grand Gala of the Investiture takes place at the Castle of Caccamo. On Sunday, August 23, the program continues with the Corteo della Castellana, the historical reenactment and artistic performances winding through Piazza Torina and Via Termitana. The event is organized by the Municipality of Caccamo with the contribution of the Regional Department of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity and co-financed by the Pro Loco Caccamo APS – Giorgio Ponte.
