Festa di Agosto in onore di Maria SS. del Romitello

Borgetto dedicates the second half of August to its patron saint Maria SS. del Romitello with a calendar that combines devotion, tradition and folklore. The religious heart of the festival is the solemn procession of the painting, which in 2024 celebrated the 102nd anniversary of the coronation, involving the entire community each year in a suggestive route through the streets of the historic center. In addition to the liturgical functions, the square comes alive with evenings of entertainment, cabaret and conviviality: an unmissable event is the collective maccarrunata, which brings together large tables in the festively decorated streets, along with initiatives such as historic motorcycle parades that bring visitors from all over the area. The festival reaches its most solemn moment at the end of August, when the simulacrum of the Madonna ritually returns to the sanctuary that dominates the town. An event that is experienced here as a family tradition, handed down from generation to generation.
Festa della Madonna di Loreto e 'U Chiuppo'

A settembre Borgetto celebra la Madonna di Loreto con una serie di eventi religiosi e folkloristici, tra cui la tradizionale manifestazione 'U Chiuppo' (albero della cuccagna). I festeggiamenti si tengono nel quartiere Madonna di Loreto e coinvolgono l'intera comunità con giochi, musica e momenti di aggregazione.
