Official presentation of the "SIGILLVM BAVCINAE" medal
Baucina
Organised by Comune di Baucina
The Municipality of Baucina presents to the public the first official medal of the institution, called "SIGILLVM BAVCINAE", created by the artist Enzo Puleo. The event is part of the celebrations for the 400th anniversary of the founding of the town, begun in 2024 and continuing over a two-year period. The medallion, a circular high relief measuring 31 centimetres, brings together in a single composition the Chiesa Madre, the winged lion of Saint Mark, the Santissimo Crocifisso, the urn of Santa Fortunata, the Monument to the Fallen and the profile of Monte Falcone. The work thus becomes a symbol of civic and identity representation of the Baucina community. The presentation is promoted by the Municipal Administration of Baucina as part of the initiatives celebrating the historical anniversaries of the town's founding process.
