Scena, Festa e Memoria – Festival of culture, art and entertainment between tradition and innovation

The second edition of "Scena, festa e memoria" enlivens Altavilla Milicia and Trabia with a program that combines theater, music, dance and family shows. The opening is entrusted to Ernesto Maria Ponte, performing on July 24 at the Municipal Amphitheater of Altavilla Milicia with "Il diverticolo". The festival features free admission events, designed to be accessible to all, and runs from July to October. The final part is dedicated to the youngest and families, with theater workshops and shows designed to engage audiences of all ages.

Continuation of the project "Venerdì in Gioco & Gelato", a recreational initiative aimed at the elderly population of Altavilla Milicia. The meetings are held every Friday in August 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with traditional games and socializing moments.
International Composition Competition "Harmoniae Pacis" - World premiere

On Friday, August 28, 2026 at 9:30 PM, the Basilica Santuario Madonna della Milicia in Altavilla Milicia hosts the world premiere of the winning piece of the International Composition Competition 'Harmoniae Pacis'. The competition, now in its first edition, is organized by the Municipality of Altavilla Milicia and the Coralica Association as part of the 2026 Week of Vocal and Instrumental Music. The awarded piece, composed by Nunzio Ortolano, will be performed in the evocative setting of the basilica. The event is part of the Master Class program of the mChorus Choir Directors Academy.
