The Sebastiano Bagolino Civic Library in Alcamo continues with the project "Libri senza barriere" (Books without barriers), a calendar of events designed to remove obstacles to access to reading. Activities include animated readings with a LIS interpreter, readings in the dark, interpretive readings, workshops and labs on AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), visits to discover the library, and "stories to touch". The meetings continue until mid-December 2026, in the morning and afternoon in the spaces of the civic library. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Alcamo with the Pro Loco of Alcamo and the Civic Library, as part of the project funded by Cepell, the Centre for Books and Reading. Reservation is required to participate.
