Isola Fest is a site-specific photography festival that will take place in Aidone from June 11 to July 25, 2027. The theme of the zero edition is "Bioma": the landscape seen as a living organism, linking communities to the territory they inhabit. The program includes eight photography exhibitions, an artist residency with Laura Pannack, a participatory photography workshop with the youth of Aidone, the "Tavola Aidone" (a free social lunch), and "Isola Mosaico", a closing party in the square. All activities are free, and 20% of the budget is allocated to accessibility, with audioguides, audio descriptions, free shuttles, and ramps and seating that will remain in the city.
